What does your day-to-day development process look like?
We work in two-week sprints. Sprint planning happens at the start of each cycle where we agree on what will be delivered. Engineers build and test throughout the sprint. A demo is held at the end with working software deployed to staging. A retrospective follows. You have direct access to engineers during agreed overlap hours, a shared project board in Jira, Linear, or your preferred tool, and async communication via Slack or Teams. Who will I actually be working with?
You will have a dedicated project lead as your primary point of contact, either a senior engineer or product manager depending on the engagement. You do. All code written by TAK Devs for your project is your intellectual property upon payment. You have full source code access via your own repositories from day one. We do not retain ownership of client IP, we do not use client code as training data, and we do not embed proprietary libraries that create future dependency on us. This is stated clearly in the contract.
How do you protect our confidential information?
Every engagement starts with a mutual NDA before any technical discussions begin. We enforce strict access controls so engineers only access systems and data relevant to their current work. We follow secure development practices including secrets management, separate development and production environments, and no storage of production data in development systems. We do not have a large dataset. Can we still benefit from AI?
Yes, in most cases. For many use cases, pre-trained foundation models require minimal proprietary data to deliver value.
