About

Event Now is an Italian events marketplace built by Aptica. Vendors open shops and list products and services, while users create their own events, find vendors by location, fill a cart and pay through Stripe. The platform also features event and story carousels and a newsletter signup to bring visitors back for their next celebration or gathering.

Challenge

Aptica’s in-house team had a marketplace close to launch but still missing key vendor, event and payment features. Every week those features stayed unfinished was a week the platform could not go to market or start earning from vendor sales. The remaining features had to be built in their Bitbucket repository and tested and approved by their own developer.

Solution

We finished the remaining marketplace features inside Aptica’s Bitbucket repository, testing and fixing until their developer signed off.
